Walden University's College of Health of Health Science's online BS in Health Studies program, designed for working professionals 24 years or older, uses a multidisciplinary approach to the study of illness, disease and injury equipping graduates with the skills to assess and develop relevant solutions related to the impact of aging on health and health care delivery, understand how information technology can be used to support clinical and managerial decision-making in health care, analyze legal and ethical issues related to health care delivery and clinical research, and understand the multiple interacting influences that impact health and wellness in young children's lives. The degree can be completed in four years or less and those students who have earned an associate's degree or have accumulated credits from a regionally accredited college or university are eligible to transfer credits.
